I am Christopher Emanuel Smith

When viewing the Brooklyn-based director's work, one is 
immediately pulled into the story through the strong use of visual language. 

Smith's visual style was born from learning to shoot on a 16mm Bolex film camera. While being economical with the film rolls and the non-sync sound nature of the Bolex, he found it necessary to tell the story through silent and captivating imagery. 

This foundation of storytelling has carried over into his current works across various genres such as music videos, commercials, editorial publications, and documentaries. 

Smith is currently in development on an episodic series.
